1933 Cuba Cover to FDR Franklin D. Roosevelt H.R. Harmer Provenance # 1114

Original 1933 Cuban postal cover addressed to President Franklin D. Roosevelt at the White House, written as “Casa Blanca,” Washington, D.C. Postmarked Habana, Cuba, March 11, 1933, only days after Roosevelt’s first presidential inauguration. The envelope is franked with a 3-centavos Republic of Cuba stamp and bears a Cuban postal slogan cancellation. The reverse is stamped: “From the Franklin D. Roosevelt Collection — Authenticated by H.R. Harmer Inc., N.Y.” An appealing piece of FDR presidential memorabilia and Cuban postal history with strong collection provenance.
