1920s Lumberton NC Coca-Cola & Nehi Bottling Receipts Lot of 8 # 1125

Original collection of eight vintage bottling-company receipts from Lumberton, North Carolina, dating from the late 1920s. The group includes: * Six Coca-Cola Bottling Co. receipts, printed “Bottlers of Coca-Cola and High Grade Soda Waters” * Two Nehi Bottling Company receipts, printed “Exclusive Bottlers of Quality Nehi Beverages” Each receipt contains period handwritten information, including customer names, delivery dates, quantities of Coca-Cola, soda water or Nehi beverages, case deposits, prices, route or receipt numbers and payment notations. Several examples are prominently marked “Paid.” These receipts provide an interesting record of early soft-drink distribution and local business activity in Lumberton during the late 1920s. An appealing collection for enthusiasts of Coca-Cola advertising, Nehi memorabilia, North Carolina history, soda bottling, general-store ephemera and vintage commercial documents.
