1923-41 Chero-Cola Nu-Icy Budweiser Bottling Receipts Lumberton NC Lot 6 # 1165

Original lot of six vintage bottling-company receipts from Lumberton, North Carolina, dating from approximately 1923 through 1941. The group includes: * Four Chero-Cola Bottling Co. receipts, advertising “Bottlers of High Grade Sodas and Chero-Cola.” The visible dates appear to include examples from 1923 and 1925. * Two Nu-Icy Bottling Co., Inc. receipts, featuring the Anheuser-Busch eagle trademark and advertising Budweiser, King of Bottled Beer. These appear to date from 1941. Each receipt contains original handwritten customer information, quantities, prices, payment notations, signatures, and other period business markings. The Chero-Cola examples document early soft-drink distribution, while the Nu-Icy receipts offer additional beer and bottling-company advertising interest. Condition is consistent with original working receipts of this age. The pieces show overall toning, fading, wrinkles, creases, edge wear, small tears, irregular or missing upper edges, stains, pencil and ink writing, and possible old tape or adhesive residue.
