1900 Boer War Censored Cover Krugersdorp Transvaal to Milan Italy # 1183

Original Second Boer War postal cover mailed from Krugersdorp, South African Republic (Transvaal) and addressed to Milan, Italy. The cover bears a clear Krugersdorp circular datestamp dated 16 October 1900, a Johannesburg transit/backstamp dated 17 October 1900, and additional postal transit and wartime markings. The octagonal handstamp on the front appears to be a censor marking, consistent with mail handled during the Anglo-Boer War (1899–1902). The original postage stamp has been removed, leaving a rectangular area where it was once affixed. Despite the missing stamp, this remains an attractive and historically significant piece of Boer War postal history with multiple readable postal markings and an international destination.
