Original 1904 French pneumatic-mail envelope carried through the historic Paris underground tube-post system. Bears a rose 30-centime Télégraphie stamp tied by Paris pneumatic cancellations, with additional timed postal markings and a clear September 28, 1904 Paris receiving mark on the reverse. Addressed to Monsieur René Leroy at a destination associated with Bercy, Paris. Printed French pneumatic-mail rates and regulations remain visible on the reverse. Condition includes substantial creasing, wrinkles, age toning, stains, ink smudging, edge wear and a tear or separation near the reverse flap. The stamp and principal postal markings remain intact.
