Original Brazilian postal stationery envelope bearing an embossed red 200 Reis indicium inscribed “Correio Estados Unidos do Brazil.” Postmarked September 1900 and addressed to the historic Collegio da S. Conceição in São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul. Reverse has São Leopoldo September 17, 1900 arrival and additional transit markings. Complete envelope with age toning, edge wear, minor creases and small tears. No contents included. Please examine all photographs for condition. Approximately 126 years old and an attractive piece of Brazilian postal, Jesuit and educational history.
