1938 Czechoslovakia to Bronx NY Postcard Mixed Franking 2¢ Postage Due # 1209

Vintage 1938 Czechoslovakia postal-history postcard sent to the Bronx, New York. The card features an attractive mixed franking of four Czechoslovak stamps totaling 1.30 Kč, including a Masaryk portrait stamp and coat-of-arms issues. Because the card appears to have been underpaid for international mailing, it received a “N.Y. G.P.O. Foreign – 2 Cents” postage-due marking, with a damaged U.S. postage-due stamp still attached. The message is handwritten in European script and the card retains multiple clear postal cancellations.
