Item description
Original 1946 French Cameroun colonial postal-history cover mailed from Lolodorf to Douala. The envelope bears a clear “LOLODORF CAMEROUN – 16 SEPT 46” circular postmark and is franked with a 3-franc French Cameroun archer stamp.
Addressed to Mr. E. H. Moser, B.P. 311, A.P.M., Douala. The large black “LOLODORF” marking across the stamp is part of the postal cancellation, not an overprint.
A desirable postwar French colonial Africa cover with a strong small-town cancellation and identifiable domestic route. The stamp remains attached to the original envelope.
Condition is as shown, with age toning, scattered spotting, light creases, minor edge and corner wear, and old handling marks. Envelope appears unopened or partly sealed; contents are not confirmed. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition and markings.
