Original early Czechoslovak postal-history cover mailed from Prague, Czechoslovakia, to Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Franked with a single imperforate 50-haler violet Hradčany Castle stamp, Pofis 15 / Scott 30, designed by noted Art Nouveau artist Alphonse Mucha. The stamp is tied to the envelope by a Prague circular postmark and represents an early international usage from the newly established Czechoslovak Republic. Approximately 1919–1920. Envelope shows age toning, edge wear, light staining and handling consistent with its age. Stamp remains attached and should not be removed. Please examine photographs for exact condition.
