Original 1908 international postal-history cover mailed from Saint Martin’s College in Lacey, Washington, to Anton Neubauer in Vienna, Austria. The envelope bears a red embossed 2-cent George Washington postal-stationery indicium uprated with three green 1-cent Benjamin Franklin stamps, creating the correct 5-cent international letter rate. Postmarked Lacey, Washington, August 31, 1908, with Vienna receiving postmarks dated September 15, 1908.
