Item description
Original unused Kingdom of Bavaria 3-kreuzer postal stationery envelope, dating to approximately 1869. Features a red embossed Bavarian coat of arms with two lion supporters and the inscription “Bayern – Drey Kreuzer.”
The reverse flap retains its original circular blind-embossed posthorn seal. This example appears most consistent with the early Michel U1 K1 type, although the exact catalog subtype is not guaranteed.
