Original 1891 Netherlands “Briefkaart” postal card mailed internationally from Oud-Gastel, Netherlands, to Ghent, Belgium. The card bears two violet 2½-cent Dutch numeral stamps, providing a total 5-cent franking, with circular June 1891 postal cancellations.
The reverse contains a full handwritten message in French, dated June 24, 1891, with period signatures. An attractive piece of late-19th-century European postal history featuring international use, original handwriting, stamps and postmarks.
Condition shows age-related toning, scattered staining and soiling, softened corners, edge wear and minor handling creases. Stamps remain attached. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition.
