1894 Paris Petit Bleu Telegram Signed Architect Charles Labro # 1246

Authentic 1894 French Paris pneumatic-post telegram, commonly known as a “Petit Bleu.” Printed on blue-green postal stationery with the 50-centime République Française Télégraphe design by Chaplain and a Paris cancellation dated March 29, 1894. Addressed to Monsieur Poubla, 68 Avenue de Saint-Ouen, Paris. The handwritten French message concerns a business matter that had been agreed to in principle and instructs the recipient to meet with an architect in Levallois-Perret the following day. The message is signed “Labro” and appears to include the return address 13 Rue de Dunkerque, Paris. These details may connect it to architect Charles Nicolas Auguste Labro, making the document more historically interesting than an ordinary personal telegram. This attribution has not been independently authenticated and is offered as a possible identification based on the handwriting and address.
