Original 1989 Swedish PFA Post Office airmail cover postmarked Kista, Sweden, January 31, 1989. The cancellation date matches the first day of issue for Sweden’s Animals in Threatened Habitats stamp series. Franked with three wildlife stamps: * Scott 1723 – Wolverine, Gulo gulo, 2.30 kr * Scott 1724 – Ural Owl, Strix uralensis, 2.30 kr * Scott 1728 – Red-breasted Flycatcher, Ficedula parva, 4.60 kr The wolverine and owl remain joined as an attractive se-tenant pair. Features the original blue-and-yellow airmail border, address window and “FLYGPOST PAR AVION” marking. Original contents are not included. Vintage condition with age toning, staining and spotting, creasing, window wrinkling, reverse-side adhesive residue and wear along the flap.
