1933 FDR Roosevelt Personal Collection Cuba Registered Cover Harmer # 1286

Vintage 1933 registered postal cover from Cuba addressed to Franklin D. Roosevelt in New York, with strong presidential and philatelic interest. The envelope bears three canceled Republic of Cuba postage stamps—two blue 5-cent stamps and one green 1-cent José Martí issue. The handwritten address identifies Dr. Franklin D. Roosevelt and references the Governor of the State of New York. Most importantly, the reverse is boldly provenance-stamped: “FROM THE FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT COLLECTION – AUTHENTICATED BY H. K. HARMER INC., N.Y.” Also present are multiple period postal/registry markings, including New York Registry markings dated February 1933. This is an appealing historical cover combining Franklin D.
