Original vintage Franklin D. Roosevelt personal stamp collection postal cover, mailed from France and addressed to President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Washington, United States. The cover retains three red French République Française 50-centime postage stamps with period postal cancellations. The reverse carries the important red provenance marking: “FROM THE FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT COLLECTION AUTHENTICATED BY H. R. HARMER INC., N.Y.” H.R. Harmer handled the dispersal of Franklin D.
