Original vintage May 5, 1957 black-and-white racing photograph of Ed Fitzpatrick, identified with Powell, Ohio and believed associated with the Powell Speedway racing scene. The original storage sleeve is handwritten “Ed Fitzpatrick – Powell, O. – 5-5-57 – S136.” The reverse of the photograph bears the period Smith’s Racing Photos / W. H. Smith / Columbus, Ohio photographer’s stamp along with the matching handwritten Photo No. S136, providing excellent original identification and provenance. A great piece of 1950s Ohio auto-racing history, especially desirable for collectors of vintage dirt-track racing, Midwestern motorsports, Powell Speedway, Columbus-area racing, and original racing photography.
