1958 Larry Odo #7 Ohio State Fairgrounds Racing Photo + Negative # 1375

Original 1958 black-and-white racing photograph of driver Larry Odo seated in his #7 stock car at the Ohio State Fairgrounds in Columbus, Ohio. The car is clearly lettered “LARRY ODO” above the door number, with “MECHANIC KENNY SHAW” painted on the front fender. The accompanying period identification card is marked “LARRY ODO,” “O.S. FAIRGRNDS,” “S 506,” and “5-4-58,” dating the image to May 4, 1958. The reverse bears the original Smith’s Racing Photos / W. H. Smith, Columbus, Ohio photographer stamp and archival markings. Also included is the original Smith’s Racing Photos negative/order sleeve, identified to Larry Odo, car #7, and archive number S506X. Most importantly, this set also includes the matching original photographic negative, making it a much more complete archival racing piece than a standalone vintage print.
