1910 Schenectady NY Cover Pair 1c Franklin Stamps to Columbus Ohio #1398

Original early 20th-century U.S. postal-history cover mailed from Schenectady, New York, and addressed to Mrs. Alice W. Gray, Columbus, Ohio. The envelope bears a horizontal pair of 1¢ green Benjamin Franklin Washington–Franklin stamps, making up the 2¢ first-class letter rate. The stamps are tied by the original postal cancellation, with a clear March 15 Schenectady, N.Y. postmark visible on the front.
