Antique 1890s F.F. Mettner Lawrence Kansas Child Cabinet Card Photograph Original late-19th-century cabinet card photograph by F. F. Mettner’s Studio, 719 Massachusetts St., Lawrence, Kansas. The portrait features a young child dressed in an elaborate dark formal outfit, seated in a decorative wicker studio chair and holding what appears to be a small floral arrangement. The front mount carries the Mettner studio imprint, while the reverse has an especially attractive and detailed advertising backmark reading “F.F.
