Original 19th-century postal cover mailed from Biddeford, Maine on July 1 and addressed to Miss Millie B. Sears at 21 Griffin Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts. The cover is franked with a green 3-cent George Washington Bank Note issue stamp and retains a circular Biddeford postmark on the front and New Bedford, Massachusetts receiving postmark on the reverse. The exact year and Scott number have not been confirmed. Condition shows expected age toning, staining, edge and corner wear, small tears and handling marks consistent with an original mailed cover.
