1967 Ann Pellegreno Signed Amelia Earhart 30th Anniversary Flown Cover # S142

Offered here is a framed 1967 Amelia Earhart 30th Anniversary commemorative aviation display featuring a cover signed by aviator Ann H. Pellegreno. The commemorative cover celebrates the 1937–1967 30th anniversary of Amelia Earhart’s historic world-flight attempt and features an illustration of the flight route and Lockheed Electra. Printed on the cover is: “Commemorative Flight 1937–1967 – Flown by Ann Pellegreno of Ann Arbor, Michigan – In a Sistership to Earhart’s Lockheed Electra.” The cover bears a red 8¢ U.S. Air Mail Amelia Earhart stamp with a San Francisco, California, June 9, 1967 postmark. The lower right portion is hand-signed “Ann H. Pellegreno.” Also included in the framed presentation is a later color photograph from an aviation/Earhart-related gathering. One attendee is visibly wearing an “Ann Pellegreno” name badge, adding an interesting association to the signed commemorative cover. The entire piece is professionally presented with a dark blue mat and gold-tone frame, making it an attractive display for an aviation, Amelia Earhart, autograph, postal-history, or women-in-aviation collection. Condition: Vintage condition with expected age-related wear. Some marks, dust, scratches and/or reflections are visible on the glass and frame.
