Original 1990 USSR Soviet commemorative First Day Envelope honoring legendary Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840–1893) on the 150th anniversary of his birth. The illustrated cover features a portrait of Tchaikovsky alongside his house-museum in Votkinsk, his birthplace. It bears a 15-kopek USSR Tchaikovsky commemorative stamp with a special Votkinsk cancellation dated May 7, 1990.
